Genshin Impact or Tower of Fantasy - which is better?

With all their similarities, the question should ultimately be asked. The last contender for Genshin Impact dominance in the category of role-playing games, Tower of Fantasy, shown brilliant weapons last week. Unfortunately, even despite the many functions and the complexity of Tower of Fantasy, there is not enough quality. This quality, however, is what you can expect from Genshin Impact.

Tower of Fantasy is better than Genshin Impact?

No. On paper, Tower of Fantasy succeeds in many areas. It has creative combat mechanics, advanced capabilities of a multi-user game, content and functions for several days, as well as a scrap system that gives SSR only because they think about pulling. It seems that Tower of Fantasy was developed to try to answer complaints of fans about games, from which she draws inspiration, in particular, from Genshin Impact. But when he does this, he usually adds difficulties, without adding value.

The battle

Tower of Fantasy refers to the mechanics of the Genshin Impact command. But instead of switching between the characters, the weapon changes between them. This means that you no longer need to listen to the same culinary puns that we have heard hundreds of times. If you want, you can use only your own tuning protagonist. And if this was not enough, instead of limited to certain categories of weapons, each weapon has its own unique game process.

There is also a reward for timely evasion-it stops time, allowing you to fly past the enemies, causing serious damage. The elementary mechanics from Genshin Impact are included, but simplified: enemies are weak for attacks of weapons from certain categories of elements. Sometimes elements will add additional effects, such as fire weapons that set fire to the enemy, but elements will not be combined to create reactions.

This is the only area for which we cannot blame Tower of Fantasy. His battle is ambitious and, as a rule, seems fast and funny, even if his elementary mechanics is not as noticeable as in Genshin Impact.

The opportunity to multiplayer game

One of the biggest claims of the fans to Genshin Impact is that it does not contain multiplayer functions. They are not mistaken. The functionality of the multi-user game is limited because Genshin Impact was developed as a game for one player with the opportunity to seek help from friends or other players. Tower of Fantasy is a mmorpg that always focuses on multi-user mechanics. It is impossible to choose a game al1. This has its pros and cons.

Obviously, there are more ways to interact with other people. There are also cases when you open your menu to look at weapons or equipment, but you find that you were not as far as you thought, from an enemy camp, a red frame and muffled combat sounds warn you that your character in Bede. The need to find a safe place to view the menu each time, and there are many of them, can quickly disappoint. This is part of the game in a common world. In this aspect, it is impossible to compare two games or say that one of them is better. They are designed differently.

The amount of content

Hotta studio tried to dispel the boredom of Genshin Impact fans, offering as many game modes and functions as possible: several types of dungeons, puzzles and environmental tests, relics that allow you to interact with the world even more methods, two equipment systems to increase the strength of your character, PVP, vehicles, cooking, the list can be continued and continued. But while Tower of Fantasy provides quantity, and it gives it quickly, it loses its focus on its quality. The puzzles are easier than that of Genshin, and require you to stop less often and think about the problem. The relics can only be used once or twice after they are found in the dungeon. And the presence of both matrices and equipment did not solve the numerous problems with the Genshin Impact artifact system-there is simply something else to manage.

Gachi system

Tower of Fantasy was quickly called generous. The players celebrated in the chat, saying that they pulled two or three SSR weapons from the Gach pool in one day, without spending a penny. Some banners have a guarantee of SSR weapons for a certain amount of stretching. This threshold can be quickly overcome with the help of a free currency rewarded for the gameplay, and, unlike Genshin Impact, the SSR weapon does not discard this pity counter. If this was not enough, the game gives you the choice of SSR weapons just to achieve a certain level in his new event.

Nevertheless, one of the most unique qualities of Genshin Impact is how he balances his characters. Damaged merchants, such as Ganyu, released in version 1.2, and Hu Tao, released in version 1.3, still remain characters of the highest level. And due to how the Genshin combat system is structured, some four-star support characters can be as valuable as the five-star dealer in your team. Will the creep of the authorities ever come to Genshin? This, of course, is still possible, but it does not seem to have passed almost two years after the release. Will the Tower of Fantasy weapon be just as evergreen in the meta? No one can guarantee this.

Story

If the IMPACT Arcum Inadzum was hasty, then the introduction of Tower of Fantasy was a dizzying sprint. An attempt to stop, read and recognize the knowledge of the world at that speed seemed impossible. The characters often appeared and disappeared from the story, which is why they were difficult to identify. And, unlike Genshin Impact, there are no additional characters (at least for the main characters who participated in its introduction) who could explain something about them. Dive was also often violated due to the fact that the voice remarks did not correspond to the text on the screen or were completely absent. He retroactively decided to postpone the version 2.7 for three weeks, apparently to guarantee compliance with quality standards that we are used to in Genshin Impact.
