Godfall: The Challenger Edition at PS Plus is quite a coil pack

Sony announced the last PS plus games for the year 2021. The December lineup contains next to Mortal Shell and Lego DC Super Villains also the action game Godfall. But if you're already leaving now, you should be careful.

Because the version offered at PS plus has the small addition Challenger Edition. Of course, you could think: Class, that's an extended version with the basic game and plenty of additional LCS, a larger package, such as a Game of the Year Edition.

Unfortunately not.

Slipped version without campaigns

Because the description on the official PlayStation Blog shows, said Challenger Edition is a slimmed version that does not contain all the content of the main game. Rather, it is limited to the three endgame modes Light bringer, Dream stones and Ascended Tower of Trials. In it, you will be equipped with a variety of weapons, which you actually unlocked in the game later. The campaigns — almost at the heart of Godfall — are not there, and it requires a fee-based upgrade to play them.

In short: The Challenger Edition is quite a coil pack whose title promises more than the version then actually holds. And yes, there is this saying: A gifted Gaul does not look into the mouth, but you should still know what awaits you at the Challenger Edition simply to prevent any disappointment.
